He is able to bring a systematic, developer mindset to design which improves the structure and handover of his work. When he has ideas about how something (process, feature, a product) could change, he presents that thoroughly to any involved stakeholders, and pushes for it by demonstrating what could be better.

He is respectful, but tenacious - and holds onto ideas for the right amount of time (when the team decides not to do something he has pushed for, he is capable of moving on to the next thing which is also important).

As a content designer, I was able to contribute changes and ideas to the prototypes that Luke had created. Luke lead the discovery phase for the project, facilitating all discovery based sessions allowing the team to build a bigger-picture on a Miro board over the course of 3 weeks. Further, Luke also provided design coaching to both a fellow ANDi on the team and a member of Yorkshire Water.
