Drive Perfect.

Branding and development

I delivered a logo, brand guide and website for a local driving instructor running his small business. A vibrant design feel was chosen and incorporated into their web presence.

Website design and development

Way back when I was still doing front-end development as well as design (not that long ago to be fair - 2020), I designed this fully responsive website in Adobe XD and developed it using HTML5, Css3, JQuery and I think some Tailwind utility classes. The website is still going strong today and you can visit it at www.driveperfect.co.uk.

On reflection the design, although vibrant and modern for the time, did not reflect really what customers may want to see from a driving instructor's web presence. I developed the website this way to tie in with the logo and brand image that I had set up, these brand assets worked great mocked up on the side of a driving instructor vehicle, but probably do not represent a professional driving instruction company as well as it could online.

Still, it's was a fun little piece of work and a good showcase for being able to design in a look and feel that is vastly different to the corporate world that product designers are often in.
